Open-connect
Register an approved camera, NVR, VMS, RTSP/HTTP/HTTPS, ONVIF, or cloud-provider endpoint that ACCIP can safely reach.
Camera Connectivity
ACCIP / VIP supports open-connect Internet cameras and Gateway-connected cameras. The difference is not the camera itself; it is how the camera reaches ACCIP, what security model is required, and how onboarding is handled.
Open-connect Camera Management
When a camera, NVR, VMS, stream endpoint, or cloud-provider API is already reachable through an approved external path, ACCIP can register and manage that source directly. Operators still work in the same ACCIP camera model: inventory, site/location, groups, processing route, health, policy participation, watchlists, alerts, and evidence context.
Gateway + Camera Management
Gateway Manager supervises authorization, pairing status, health, last sync, connected camera count, warning camera count, replacement status, and visibility into cameras connected through that Gateway. The installed local Gateway application handles LAN discovery, credentials, stream testing, manual camera entry, CSV camera import, and connect-selected workflows.
Customer Side Stays Simple
Automated Scale
Open-connect endpoints are useful when the camera source is already safely reachable. Gateway-connected cameras are usually better for private LANs, locked-down customer networks, and larger deployments because cameras do not need to be exposed to the public Internet.

Keep cameras private on the local network while the ACCIP Gateway creates the secure outbound bridge to ACCIP / VIP Sector.
Policy profiles define camera participation, Override Behavior, alert routing, evidence purpose, and Retention Time-frame.
Gateway is a connection method, not a separate camera inventory. As connected cameras grow, ACCIP expands intelligence across the same governed model.
They manage cameras, users, permissions, and results. ACCIP / VIP manages the tactical system, policy alignment, Gateway supervision, sector routing, model/data updates, and scale that turns connected cameras into governed intelligence.
